Stuck for ideas this New Year’s Eve? Bored of the usual bars? We’ve sought out five of the best events going on in Yorkshire, just for you.

Alexander’s, Skipton

New Year's Eve

Alexander’s in Skipton always puts on a bloody good show. If their Off-Piste event was anything to go by, then their New Year’s Eve party will be a cracker.

This year’s theme is a ‘Back to the 80’s Extravaganza’. There will be plenty of retro styling along with a five course 80s’ inpired meal from executive chef, Struan Macintyre, including classic favourites like Mushroom Supreme Vol au Vent and Maraschino Cherry Baked Alaska.

They have also confrimed that a Mr T lookalike will be in attendance, and will be revealing the identity of their ‘superstar’ 80s’ DJ very shortly!
